Brimming with happiness on getting my F12 install to once again use four monitors on my aging hardware, I decided to tempt fate and go ahead with a yum upgrade to F13. I run a dual-head NV44A Geforce 6200 AGP card and a pair of NV34 GeForce FX 5200 PCI cards to power four monitors. Fedora 13 ships with X.org 1.8, which required Nvidia driver updates, in my case to the 173xx driver. I have been a very happy RPMFusion Nvidia/ATI driver user for years, but since the new drivers have not quite made it into their repository just yet, I thought I would see how the Nvidia installer fared these days. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was only a few steps to have a fully-functioning driver up and running.
